To add an entry to the diary, simply click the “+” button and choose a Recommended Entry or a Recent Suggested Entry. You can also click the New Entry button to share anything you want, including a suggested entry or recent entry.

The Journal app offers personalized daily suggestions based on your daily activities and experiences. These suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence on iPhone, taking into account your physical activity, contacts, photos and important locations. However, these suggestions are completely private, and only appear if you write about them explicitly, or save them in your diary. You have full control over these suggestions so you can choose the following:

Turn it off completely: This disables all journal suggestions based on your activity.

Customize it: You can choose what types of activities you want the app to consider for suggestions, such as physical activity, media playing, contacts, photos, or important locations.

This gives you flexibility and control over your journaling experience, allowing you to receive relevant prompts without compromising your privacy.

Security: Protect your entries by locking your diary with your face, fingerprint or passcode.

Scheduling: Set reminders to journal at specific times throughout the day to develop a consistent journaling habit.

saving photos: Choose whether photos taken within the Diary app will automatically be saved to your photo library for organization.

Focus on others: Prioritize diary suggestions that include other people you've interacted with.

Discoverability: Allow nearby users to discover you, which can help prioritize journal suggestions related to shared experiences.

◉ Explore additional settings to further customize your journaling experience.

These features allow you to create a journaling routine that works for you and maintain control of the information you share within the app.

Clicking on a category tab opens a new page dedicated to that category.

The new placement makes browsing by category faster and easier for users. This is especially useful for users who know which category they are interested in. Thus providing a more convenient and streamlined experience for browsing the App Store and finding certain types of apps more easily.
