Apple updates us on its popular e-book reading app iBooks 1.2 It is the first update launched by the company for this application, and we wanted to review with you the additional features of this update, which would make the e-reading experience more enjoyable and useful:
First: the search feature in the library
Where with the crowding of books in your electronic library it becomes sometimes difficult to search for the desired book, in the previous version you could search in the library, but by displaying the books in a list. In this update, you can search for the book you want in the same way as the library (shelves) are displayed with ease as you have Except pull the shelves to the bottom and the search box will appear, and it provides the ability to search in: book title, author's name
Second: Collections or Collections
Where you can now distribute your books into groups so that each group has its own separate shelves and this helps you to better arrange your library, and it mainly contains two groups: books and PDF files, and then you can create the groups that you want.
Books can be transferred to groups with the following steps
- Click the Edit button in the top right of the library
- Choose the books that you want to transfer to the new collection
- Click the Move button in the top left of the library
- Choose the new collection you want to transfer the books to, and you will notice that the books have disappeared into the existing shelves and special shelves have been created for this group
Third: the ability to print and send
As this new version of the application provides the ability to print PDF files and notes that you write on books, using the special AirPrint, as printing the e-book itself is not available and this is logical: first in terms of preserving rights, and secondly because it is electronic and we do not need to print it for reading :)
You can find the Print and Send button for notes you write in a book or Notes on the index page of the book
Fourth: The illustrated book
This is a good feature that Apple adds to the application, which is the ability to publish picture books such as books and children's stories in particular, so that the pages of the book are a complete picture and the text is written on in the places designated for it.
Fifth: adding the hyphen between the lines
It is a good sub-addition, especially in the English language, where the word is linked if it is at the end of the line so that the same word is completed in the new line and linked with a sign “-” which is known as Hyphenating, and this would increase the number of words in a single line and thus reduce the size of the pages of the book
Finally, as you have noticed, there is no special update that supports the Arabic language yet, and we hope to see that soon, such as:
- Support book browsing from right to left
- Arabic dictionary support
- Application lists and features in Arabic

We wish you a pleasant reading ..

Brother Tariq Mansour, I have a problem with my 3gs device when trying to update it. It turns off and does not accept the update and is no longer paired with my computer. Only the apple appears on the screen. What is the solution?
May God bless you, my brother Hamad, for this explanation .. May God reward you all the best for your most wonderful website, which I consider a treasure richer than the treasures of Ali Baba: D
Sincerely appreciated and respectful
Frankly, the program is very very very beautiful
I just encountered a simple problem
And here it is, the program is slow, so it opens the book quickly and turns pages quickly
I don’t know, it’s a problem with the device or the same program
Knowing that I have my iPhone 3GS
Thank you very much
Really wonderful application, may God reward you well, but I have a note, please kindly answer a sufficiently
How to download books from (iBooks.ea) on the iPhone 4 because in fact it is a site rich in useful books that are worth downloading
Thank you again and waiting for you
Thank you all for your response to my question, and there were adequate solutions and answers, and the method of Brother Abu Dimah was used.
All kindness to you
thank you
The iBook itself, even before the development, is a top in magnificence, and now with the new update and the addition of some features, there is no doubt an excellent addition to this most wonderful application ... Apple ...
thank you ;;
On those two days, they knocked on the door of reading, which ceased to exist ..
How much we miss her ..
Thank you, Mr. Hamad.
I would like to note that there is a very easy way
To download books to the iPhone
You do not need a computer in it ... provided that the device is jailbreacked ... and it is as follows:
1- Download the safari download manager from Cydia.
2- We open the safari browser and go to: http://www.iBooks.ae
Then we click on the icon (download the book) to be downloaded.
Then a small window will appear asking how to open the book, and from the options we choose the ibooks program
And directly, the program will open automatically and you will find the book on the shelves.
I did not shorten a wonderful program, but I have a question. I honestly do not know anything about the program, but I like it, and the question is how do I add books to my library. Thank you Yvon Aslam
You can refer to this article, my dear brother http://www.ibooks.ae/?page_id=11
Thank you for explaining the advantages of modernization, my brother Hamad, some of which I was ignorant of, despite my updating some time ago, and may God bless these great efforts in your blessed position, as it is truly a classy effort and a work that deserves respect and appreciation.
I wish you good luck .
Thank you
And it gives you wellness :-)
Valuable and useful information that you share. May God help you
May God reward you, my beloved brother Hamad
In the balance of your good deeds
Indeed, one thing is missing, which is browsing from right to left
After peace be upon you, may God reward you with the best reward, but is there a way to download the book directly to the iPhone without iTunes
You can do one of two ways:
1- Using another reading program such as Stanza, it allows downloading the book directly from the site. You will find more about it in this section http://www.ibooks.ae/?page_id=425
2- If you jailbreak your device, then maybe the abudeeema method (above) will be useful in the same program
Hi,
Yes, you can download books directly without iTunes by going to 4shared.com, then you search by entering the title of the book or author and you choose the book in pdf format and follow the instructions after that, and when the book appears, click once on the screen and at the top on the right will appear: open in ibook, and thus the book has been added to the ibook library.
I hope this explanation is an adequate answer to your question.
Just for indication and correction of the information. The search feature is available in the previous version, whether it is shelves or menu.
Thank you very much for this topic.
And God reward you with good.
A thousand thanks to you frankly. I had been hoping for a long time, but unfortunately when I clicked to download the book, he writes to me. The download was completed after I did not get the book

May God reward you, a thousand good brother, Hamad for this information. And to the Imam, God willing
Thank you for the detailed explanation
But, to be honest, I downloaded the program, what I used
Only once or twice. And settled violin
We wait for the most.
:)

Useful update and new features
Thanks iPhone Islam :)
May God reward you my best brother Hamad for your eagerness to spread knowledge in the Arabic language and on your wonderful website http://www.iBooks.ae، We wished to create a site like yours, but what we see from you of interest in publishing Arabic books in the Apple Book Store and by using the iBook program makes us reassured. We ask you to continue and, God willing, the Arab users will support you.
(Kvshtk), Professor Tariq, about a topic on my mind and related to this topic (books and libraries), which is
The idea of "My Library" program, which is concerned with indexing and arranging books.
What do you think?
Professor Tariq did not express your opinion on the idea of the program?
I feel that a lot of those interested in books will benefit from it, especially as it is a mobile indexing for their libraries
And I have some ideas for this program ..
