ITunes is considered one of the most complex programs for users in general, and we have to start with especially beginners, although we previously presented in the iPhone an Islam book about The basics of dealing with iTunes But it only gives the principles, and iTunes is still a great difficulty for quite a few users and from this point of view we decided to put some simple ideas for our brothers that may help them in dealing with this important program, which is the only official means of communication between Apple devices (iPhone - iPod - iPhone) IPad) and between the user.
Change the default iTunes path
We must know the default path for the folder of programs downloaded through iTunes and the importance of this matter that this path contains all the applications that you download. You save them from their path
The default path in Windows 7 is: C: \ users \ user \ Music \ iTunes \ iTunes Media \ Mobile Applications
The default path in Mac is: Users / Users Name / Music / iTunes / iTunes Music / Mobile Applications
If you want to change the path of the programs folder to avoid any emergency such as a malfunction of the operating system, which may necessitate formatting the system disk and thus losing the entire program, or to free up additional space on the system disk, then from iTunes on the computer and from the Settings / Tab / Advanced and then choose the new path and then move the programs by the path First to the new path and it will be recognized after restarting iTunes.
Change a book picture in iBooks
Sometimes the picture on the cover of a book in the iBooks app does not like you and you want to change it in any image you want. Go from iTunes select books and then the desired book> right-click and from the mouse menu choose Get info> Artwork tab, as in the image below:
And you can delete the image to be able to put a new picture and you can also change the zoom if you want, then sync it with the iPhone to be synced to iBooks.
Control backup copies
ITunes always saves the BACKUP folder
Windows 7: C: \ Users \ user \ AppData \ Roaming \ Apple Computer \ MobileSync \ Backup
Mac: Users / UserName / Library / MobileDevice
But it does not distinguish each restore point as it is, but merges all and shows the date of the last restore and you may find only a single restore point, and it does not give you an opportunity to undo the rollback - if you will - or choose a specific restore point. In order to force iTunes to save each separate point and the date of its creation and create a new folder for the new backup copy, go according to the above paths and then rename the backup folder as you want, and I see from personal experience that you add above the basic label the restore date so that you can distinguish each point from the others.
As for this method, you can restore it from (version 1), taking into account that you will lose the new data after the date of (version 1). To overcome this problem and before restoring from (version 1) create a new restore point and call it (version 3) and then restore from (point) 1) And save the desired image outside the iPhone or outside the pictures folder, then restore it again from (version 3), and this is what I called above by undo.
