Apple provides two ways to save and restore (Backup & Restore) and they are iTunes, which will keep your data on your personal computer, or through Apple's iCloud service, which gives you only 5GB, which is a very small number compared to the size of the backup files - you can buy additional space up to 1TB-, and that is why those who do (Backup & Restore) resort to using the easy and fast way, which is iTunes because it depends on the computer space, and in this article we will explain the way backup and Restore work through iTunes.

Backup, known in Arabic as the backup copy, is a safe way to transfer all the contents of the iOS device to your computer in case the backup is made via iTunes, with the aim of returning to it and obtaining it at any other time. Backup is used for several purposes, and the most important of those goals are when you upgrade to a new iOS device, to obtain the contents of your old device.

To make a complete backup for your phone, you must give the iTunes program the right to keep applications, and to do so, connect the device to your computer and allow the computer to keep your applications to access them at any time through Account in the top bar and then Authorize This Computer and you will be asked to enter your Apple ID. You can show / hide the top bar by pressing Ctrl + B.

Restore is the process of transferring the data - which was obtained through the backup - to another device, and you can create a restore for a pre-existing backup by selecting the phone sign from the top and choosing the Summary section on the left side, then choose Restore Backup and choose the backup that you want.

* To complete the process, the Find My iPhone service must be disconnected from the iOS device
