We received a question from one of our readers about what he called the feature of changing the color of the Safari browser to black and was amazed at what happened, which prompted us to explain that the color of the Safari browser for your iOS device can change its color to appear in black as shown in the image below.

The reason for Safari to turn black is to activate one of the browsing features that preserve privacy. When you select this feature, your browser will change color to black to draw your attention that you are in “Private Browsing” mode. This feature was newly introduced to iOS devices in iOS 5.

But what is the benefit of this feature and how can it be turned on or off?

The benefit of safe browsing or private browsing is that it does not record anything when you browse on the device and does not keep what you browse in the History list, cache or cookies, so it is preferable to use these features over browsing websites for banks and others because the user name, passwords, or security card data will not be preserved. Or any input you make, such as the search words that you type in the search box in Safari, and the Auto-Fill feature will not work within this feature. This will preserve your privacy and make you safe from intruders, so no one will be able to see what you have visited.

To turn this feature on, go to the “Settings” icon, then “Safari” to find the “Private Browsing” option under the privacy item, as shown above.

Information: Of course, despite the importance of this feature, activating it is always cumbersome for you because you simply will not be able to use the full features of the Internet and in all the sites that you enter you will need to enter your data again as if your device is new, so you must use this feature only when you need it.
