With the grace of God, we created a new program called This is Mohammad (This is the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him). The program is not intended for the Arab user and it is the first program produced by the iPhone Islam aimed at the foreign user, especially the non-Muslim.
Before starting to explain the program’s features, there is a story behind this program that must be told. Since the beginning of the Apple software store, we have always monitored Islamic programs, especially foreign ones. The reason for this is that the software store is a very strong media field, and if someone publishes a distorted image of Islam or our Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, we must respond to it, correct the error and amend this image to the correct image, as he knows Most of you there are enough duties, which are the assumptions that anyone in the ummah of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, must perform, otherwise the whole ummah is sinning, and there are areas that we must engage in, and it is not permissible for everyone to fail about it.
Indeed, what we expected happened, and books spread in the software store that spoke badly about our honorable Messenger, or at least do not speak impartially and objectively. Indeed, we started working on producing a program that would be interesting in order to spread and be a response to these offensive programs for us and be at the same time an invitation to millions of users of the Apple iPhone and iPod touch devices. While we are working on the engine that will display the books, which we called iFlipEngine, a group of books and programs created by Muslims have appeared that speak about our noble Messenger in a decent and true manner. However, these programs are still not free ... Is this reasonable, O Ummah of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. There is no free program that talks about our honorable Messenger. I was really angry and felt we were falling short, but the work was a lot and the challenges many. Until I finished working on the engine, thank God, and we were already trying it on me Quran program. The purpose was never to issue a Qur’an. The reason is that there are many Quran programs and one is sufficient iQuran The priority was for a program on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Indeed, we have cooperated with the site the Islam way And who had the lead in creating the site for a book on the Messenger of God named (This is MuhammadIt has been translated into several languages and this coincides with our goal because we want to produce the program in several languages. Unfortunately, their book streak was very small and we had to almost reformat the entire book to be at least iPhone readable. At that time, we made the decision to issue the Qur’an first, and then return to the program of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
Today, praise be to God, the program has been published in the software store, although we expected to be harassed by Apple and that it will be rejected due to the proximity of the way the program works in the browser of its books that it announced in its new product, the iPad. But in fact, we were the first to produce such a way to browse books on the iPhone and the Quran program in the software store Too long ago We can say that Apple is the one who copied us, and they couldn't even copy us well, as our new engine has more features.
