Regardless of the semi-permanent big issues between Apple and other large companies such as Qualcomm, Samsung and others over patents or monopoly. However, there are other cases against Apple that have been filed by Apple users themselves, including the notorious slowdown in performance. This time, they see that Apple misled them or that they misunderstood those things due to Apple's policy of displaying and marketing its products. Do these people have the right to do these cases? Or are these just claims to get money from Apple? This is what we would like to know after reviewing the details of these cases.

A woman files a case against Apple over the notch

The notch of the iPhone is known to everyone, this part hanging from the top of the screen of the iPhone X and beyond contains the Face ID system.
And what happened, is that in a move that may have been Apple's marketing, it displayed the phone with a background in which it deliberately concealed the notch. Where it took advantage of the characteristics of the OLED screen, which is not to turn on the pixels in the black color, so it displayed a black background at the notch area until it was completely hidden. This background is what has been marketing to the new phones through it. The woman claimed that the photos were misleading, and then she filed a lawsuit against Apple.
In a complaint filed last Friday in Northern California, Courtney Davis' attorneys accused Apple of designing certain backgrounds to hide the notch, which led Davis to believe that the iPhone XS Max that she pre-ordered would not come with that notch.

“Images that hide missing pixels on product screens appear prominently on the defendant’s website, as well as in advertisements for retailers who sell Apple products,” the complaint said. This image was relied upon by the claimant, as I believed that the iPhone XS and XS Max would not have that notch. The complaint contained other things, including asking Apple not to count the pixels on the corners of the device in its ads, because they are misleading, as will be mentioned.
This is the first time that marketing images related to the latest Apple devices have been legally scrutinized. We mentioned in a previous article that Apple may have taken this step in order to hide the bump.
In another complaint filed by the aforementioned woman, in addition to a person named Christian Sponchiado, suing Apple for announcing the wrong shape of the screen size and number of pixels for the iPhone X, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

They claim that these phones do not have the advertised screen resolution because they do not contain the screen pixels advertised in the product description - instead of having subpixels in red, green and blue, the iPhone X contains only two subunits per pixel, according to what it says. The lawsuit. And that those phones are supposed to have a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. They claimed that the iPhone 8 Plus has a higher-quality screen than the iPhone X.
As for screen size, they said that Apple lied about screen sizes, adding the angles and notches to those measurements according to that complaint. The screen size of the iPhone X is supposed to be 5.8 inches, but prosecutors said it is only 5.6875 inches!
Strangely, it was stated in the lawsuit that Mrs. Davis suffered injuries while obtaining the phone. But it is not clear in the lawsuit how the difference in pixels or the presence of the notch led to these injuries.
Why is everyone suing Apple?
It is noticeable that anyone who has even the slightest suspicion of Apple devices will immediately file a case against it. Is it because I got a bunch of money to drop these issues? Which is mostly about small and trivial things. In one case, an 83-year-old woman sued Apple for $ XNUMX million, after crashing into a glass door in one of its stores.

And this woman claims that very clean, wiped glass is what caused that mess. Why is Apple wiping and cleaning the glass?
And in some big cases. For example, Apple has been sued by a company called FlatWorld Interactives, which alleges that all of Apple's touch products violate its patents.
Another case by Potter Voice Technologies against Apple over voice control of computer functions. They claim that it is their intellectual property and that this is their patent infringement.
There is a class-action lawsuit alleging that Siri does not work properly and that most of the questions are often incomprehensible, or cannot be answered. “Idea for the Arab user” Let's file a case against Siri Arabia.
If you want to set up a successful company, do you have to seek the help of a large army of lawyers to defend you? Otherwise, your company will be an inexhaustible gold mine.
Compared to those people and we as Arabs, if we track our companies and their products, such as slimming and beauty products, and others. I think if we caught their mistakes, we would have closed those companies before they opened!
In your opinion, why are there so many public cases against Apple and in strange matters? Do you see them as provocative matters, or are they natural rights for every person?
